# Releases

> Every Tinka release by month, with what it holds and its tag.

Tinka is released from the `1.x` branch, and every release is a tag on it: `v1.0.0-alpha.N` during the alpha, then betas, then `v1.0.0`. `go install github.com/mucolabs/tinka/cmd/tinka@latest` installs the newest tag, and `tinka version` prints the one you have. Pin the version your App builds against in its `go.mod`, since APIs change between alpha releases.

## October 2026

`v1.0.0-alpha.1` is the first release: Tinka's foundation, complete with its docs.
